Discover Ramadan – You’re Invited

Hockwell Ring Masjid warmly invites our neighbours, colleagues and friends to join us for a special Discover Ramadan open evening and community Iftar.

This event is especially for members of the wider community who would like to learn more about Ramadan in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Whether you are curious about fasting, interested in visiting a mosque, or simply would like to share a meal and conversation — you are most welcome.

What is Discover Ramadan?

Discover Ramadan is an open mosque event designed to:

• Explain what Ramadan means to Muslims

• Provide an opportunity to visit the mosque

• Encourage open and respectful conversation

• Build stronger community understanding

• Share Iftar — the sunset meal that breaks the fast

No prior knowledge is required. You are welcome exactly as you are.

What to Expect on the Evening

You will experience:

• A short, simple introduction to Ramadan
• A guided tour of the mosque
• Time for questions and discussion
• A shared Iftar meal
• Clearly labelled food (vegetarian options available)

Our team will be available throughout the evening to help you feel comfortable and answer any questions.
