Importance of Making an Islamic Will

Hockwell Ring Masjid, in partnership with the Muslim Community Association, is pleased to invite the community to an important and informative seminar on the significance of making an Islamic Will.

Many Muslims are unaware of the importance that Islam places on preparing a will and ensuring that their affairs are arranged in accordance with Islamic principles. This seminar will provide valuable guidance on how to protect your family’s interests, fulfil your Islamic obligations, and gain peace of mind by planning ahead.

The session will be delivered by Barrister Saiful Islam of Trust Chambers, who will discuss the legal and Islamic aspects of wills, common misconceptions, and practical steps that every Muslim should consider.

The Prophet (SAW) said:

“It is not permissible for a Muslim who has anything to bequeath to stay for two nights without having his will written with him.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari)
