TEA WITH IMAM

The roles of an Imam in masjid or mosque is to illuminate individuals and communities through educating them about Quran and the faith of Islam Tea With Imam sessions are especially organised to create friendships as well as opportunities to ask questions about Allah (God), Quran and Islam. Guests from all back grounds and walks of life attend these sessions and enjoy Q&A in a friendly and peaceful atmosphere. Popular topics such as Quran, Muhammad, Abraham, Moses and Jesus as the Prophets of Islam, Rights of women in Islam, Islam’s moral and social principles, distribution of wealth and economic systems in Islam are covered.

These events are being supported by Hockwell Ring Mosque and UK Islamic Mission (Luton North).

Hockwellring Madrasah in Ramadan

Madrasah is open as normal and all teaching activities will continue till 3rd of July 2015. Madrasah will be shut for Ramadan and Eid Holidays from 6th July 2014 to sunday 19th July 2015. Insha Allah Madrasah will re open after holidays on Monday 20th July 2015.

Ramadan Mubarak

First of Ramadan will be inshallah tomorrow on Sunday 29th of June 2014. Ramadan Mubarak to all our guests on this website. This is the month of blessings and we hope that Allah will give us the ability to do justice with ourselves in this month. Please remember and pray for all the muslims around the globe who are in the state of suffering during this blessed month. May Allah forgive our sins and give us the true understanding of our deen.

Ramadan Timetable is available to download from this website. It is available to download on the front page of this website and will be available to download throughout Ramadan Insha Allah. Please note that our regular salah times will bear some changes in Fajr, Maghrib and Isha timings due to Sahar and iftar.

 

 

Parents Consultation Regarding Madrassa

After the recent parents consultation day, the madrasah has gone through some important changes. This has helped the masjid to organise the growing number of students in madrasah. The changes have enabled us to operate madrasah in an efficeint way professional way.

These changes have been implemented since 22nd May 2014. According to this the madrasah will introduce Islamic studies session for the children in three levels.

Level 0 suitable for children under the age of 7

Level 1 suitable for children from 7 to 8 years of age

Level 2 suitable for children older than 8 years of age

Many Islamic studies topic covering from Aqeedah to practices of Islam, Seerah of the prophet (s.a.w), Stories of the sahabas etc. will be covered in this sessions. The children will study their usual Qaida and Quran session for 1 hour every day and in next hour they will be taught Islamic studies.

Regular quiz, tests and other practical sessions will also be held to ensure that children are learning Islamic concepts effectively, Insha Allah.
