The annual Kidsinspire competition is back.. This year it is planned for 21st and 22nd October 2017. The categories are the same, and the format of the competition is same, however this year we have a special discount for the early bird registrations.
On Saturday 21st and 22nd Oct 2017 there will be relax/fun areas - stalls including food and children’s entertainment in the Masjid car park. All money raised will go towards the masjid.

Early bird discounted £5 per activity until 23rd September. Between 23rd Sept till 15th October normal fee of £7 will apply.
Terms and Conditions
Qira’at: Recitation must be a minimum of 3 minutes and read from memory. Recitation time may be reduced to 2 minutes for participants between ages of 6-7 yrs. Short surah’s
cannot be joined to lengthen recitation.
Nasheed: Can only be in the English or Arabic language or a combination. Maximum time allowed will be 5 minutes. Only solo performance permitted.
* Age restriction applies - No girls over the age of 11 are permitted to enter for both categories above.
Speech: Must be based on good Islamic advice and cannot be read from a script. However key notes will be permitted. Must be between 4 and 6 minutes.
Reading Challenge (not recommended for under 8 year old’s): All children to read the book “Stories of the Prophets”by Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi. Although we encourage you to
read the whole book,this year we will be focusing on the last 6 chapters; Musa (as) to ‘Isaibn- Maryam (as). Saturday – All children will be put to a written test. This qualifying round
will comprise of 30 questions – top 12 achievers will be taken to finals (sun). Quarter final: Children will be asked 20 interactive questions – 3 highest scoring contestants will go
through to semi final. The 3 remaining contestants will choose 7 questions each from a grid of 25 in total, highest scoring 2 will go through to final. In the event of multiple choice
question, 50/50 and Ask the audience available from this round.
Final round – More challenging and exciting than previous rounds!
Qualifying Day - Saturday 21st Oct
Qirat Qualifying sessions will start from 10.45am
Nasheed & Speech Qualifying session will start at 2pm
Reading Challenge will start from 3.30pm
Final Competition Day – Sunday 22nd October
All qualifying children will proceed to the finals starting at 11am. Children are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes early for registration. If you have any issues
